I don’t like few things that I’m seeing around too often.

People tend to look the bad examples.

Me: “You know, it’s really important to have a good website, because I don’t know if you notice, but it’s 2014 and the web is not more a new and unimportant thing”. ”

Alex Homme (just to invent a name): “If you look at -insert the name of the competitor -, our site is better”.

Me: “You are right, but their website sucks 100, and your website sucks 99, so yes, it’s a bit better, but it sucks anyway”.

Alex Homme: “Yes, but still it’s better than that one”.

Me: “Why are you not spending energies to look UP, for fuckin once, and not down? Why you are not looking up for people who have a website that is the number one, and learn, and steal from them?”

Alex Homme: “I’m in a gallery, I don’t he……”

It’s more exciting, challenging, and rewarding to look up for the best in everything you do. And who knows…maybe you are going to solve your company problems as well, since I have the feelings that since your site sucks, people arrives and goes away immediately. There are other 145 sites offering the same thing, but they are better. Really better.

People tend to stay in the comfort zone.

We all know changes are scary. That’s OK. It’s not even news. But people, you need to risk to do something great. How many opportunities are you wasting just because you don’t wanna risk?

Are you happy in doing the same shit over and over and over? Have you realized that the shit you are living right now (less sales, less visits, or whatever the hell it’s happening) is because you are not pushing yourself to find a solution?

There is no time to waste in crying remembering the old time. Fuck it, it’s time to change, to fail, and try. You’re gonna win the first time or the 110th, but at least you are trying, you are moving, you are going in the right direction, you are doing something. If you don’t care, put yourself aside, and let people who care to take control and do something. Do not worry, people who want to help still need you, but you need to trust them. Work together, stay up at night drinking beers and listening to stoner rock til you find the solution.

I wanna see the fuckin passion, not just dead people who don’t care.

People are afraid of someone saying “I’m here to help” 

I know the world is so shit that if someone is saying to you “let me help you” you are going to think “this guy is going to fuck with me”.

Well, let me tell you. It happens, yes. But there are amazing people out there ready to help just because it’s good, because they have visions, because they want to change things. These are people who don’t like to be still and wait for the world to pass by, they don’t love to be passive, they are a pain in the ass because they think 100 things in one second, they are talking about stuff it’s not written in books, they are wrong and have no problem to admit it, they need to see crazy shit happening, they cry alone for 10 minutes and you’ll never see it.

So, come the fuck down and talk to people who want to help, because you need help. And, just to make an example, if you look at your website with a clear and open minded vision, you realize you need these people.
