MY KID ERA

I had a pretty normal childhood. You know…school, friends, pain in the ass for my parents, crush for Michael Jackson first, then for heavy metal, concerts and all the stuff you do when you are youngster in a small city. I think that’s why I decided to make thousands of different experiences, and to live a more rock and roll life, following the weirds and the unknown paths.
Non rubate i sogni. Italian translation of Seth Godin’s Stop Stealing Dreams, about the status quo of education.

MY LANGUAGE SKILLS
YEAH YEAH YEAH, TELL ME MORE ABOUT THIS ALESSIO GUY (ongoing + NO censorship)
Alessio is one of the most reliable, sociable and helpful people I’ve met online. Chris Gilchrist, founder of Hit Reach.
I really respect Alessio’s honesty and integrity, he’s a man of strong values and stays true to them. However, he has a taste in music which is on occasion questionable. Gaz Copeland, founder of Stoked SEO.
Alessio isn’t afraid to express ideas that go against the popular opinion. He’s a radical free thinker. John-Henry Scherck , content marketing manager at SEO Gadget.
Alessio is a curious guy, I think that’s what makes him an effective marketer. Being an effective marketer makes him a valuable peer in this business; but it is his kind, yet no-nonsense personality that make me proud to call him a friend. Don Rhoades, search marketing professional and founder of The Gonzo SEO.
Alessio is a no-nonsense kind of guy who puts integrity first. He’s a rare mix of empathy with a no-bull perspective that I appreciate. Joel Klettke, freelance writer, content strategist and marketing mind at Business Casual Copywriting.
Alessio is a passionate digital marketer who approaches optimization and growth with emotional intelligence. He is a genuine person who cares about the quality of his projects and will go the extra mile to make his work perfect. Nick Eubanks, VP of digital strategy W.L. Snook & Associates and founder of SEO Nick.
Alessio is a super smart SEO who is well respected within the industry. He is full of enthusiasm and is passionate about what he does on a daily basis. Also a bloody nice guy. Neal Dougan, founder of Evoke SEO.
Ale is the guy who jumped from cutting mice open to building websites and helping companies make more money through the internet. I’d call this being creative, following a dream or rather an idea of life, and also being crazy enough to change completely environment and lifestyle, more than once. But considering where he is now, he definitely made the right calls at the right times. Even if I don’t totally approve his recent music taste, but well, nobody is perfect, right? When I think about him I have a picture of a medieval warrior on a horse in my mind, but I can’t (rather, I don’t want to) explain why. And btw, he is the guy who forced me to use bcc in multiple destination emails. What does this tell you? Enrico Della Gaspera , friend, postdoctoral researcher @ CSIRO.
I’m Alessio’s girlfriend and -of course!- I have personal feelings for him. That’s why, first of all, I would love to say that he’s handsome and charming. :) During our life together, Alessio has always been able to transmit his huge enthusiasm for things and this was determinant for all the adventures we lived together. He’s great because he understands when things are broken and he works his ass off to change them. He doesn’t want to accept the status quo and he tries to make things better no matter what. He never stops when he understands the potential. He’s passionate and he’s a natural leader. Giulia Depentor, my love, writer and community manager. You can read about her here.
I could put together many adjectives to describe Alessio – free, honest, giving, passionate – but none of them could properly describe how special he is. Alessio has a rare quality: he’s able to change you. By just sharing his passions, his take on the world and his Spotify playlists, he puts everything (myself included) into a new perspective. He reminds you how important it is to ask the right questions, seek for the truth and live to the fullest. No wonder he’ll go very, very far. Alessandra Maffei , friend, account executive @ We Are Social
You are worth hundreds of sparrows. (Sparklehorse). Julie Joyce, owner of Link Fish Media
I mean, just look at how his surname begins… MAD… nomen omen. Lorenzo Grandi , friend , web project manager
Alessio’s strives to consume as much information as possible to help advance both personally and in his career. This is a rare trait which is quite desireable as an employer to have in an employee. Michael J. Kovis, SEO consultant and internet marketer , read more on his blog
It was a fucking pleasure and an Awesome experience working with you Alessio. You motivated all the team , it was really cool. have fun! Elissaveta Tcholakova, SEO manager @ Zalando France
Honesty in business is often undervalued. People like to agree with others, and like it when other people agree with them. This is fine, until you have a bad idea, and you waste a lot of time and money pursuing it simply because people weren’t honest with you. Alessio is different. Alessio will not tell you something just because it’s what you want to hear. If he disagrees, he will tell you, giving you the opportunity to make a more informed decision. In my experience, this is a rare quality, and one of significant value. Patrick Hathaway, senior SEO consultant @ Hit Reach
Alessio is one of the most passionate marketers you are ever likely to meet. Creative, smart and not afraid to be honest or stick to his own opinions (regardless of it’s popularity). His most admirable trait is his pursuit of truth whether it’s in marketing, music or life in general. This drive helps him strive, to keep improving and creating things that matters, something real. Sean Revell, freelance web visibility expert
I know Alessio to be a creative and thoughtful person, both on a professional and personal level. Alessio strives for excellence and I admire his ideals to treat people with respect and care. David Cohen, SEO team lead at SEER interactive
When I met Alessio (or Sio, as I call him) I immediately noticed his passionate way of interacting with people, his curiosity in knowing who you are and his brilliant sense of humor. Sio is a rock star, a special guy even if he doesn’t like Bon Iver and Sigur Rós. Last but not least, he has a freaking awesome last name! Annamaria Rinaldi, friend, content editor @ Expedia
Ale is one of the few persons in my life I can really consider as a FRIEND. Genuine, direct, funny and always positive. We can be hundreds of miles away, and indeed we are, but whenever I need a feedback/suggestions or simply I need to talk to somebody, no doubt I can count on him. Awesome guy!! Dario Nicetto, friend and and one of the few really important people in my life, post-doc @ University of Pennsylvania
