Meet your SEO: Chris Countey

It’s already the middle of July. In these days we are reading a lot about people leaving the fantastic SEO world. To be honest I don’t know if ‘fantastic’ is the right word, but for sure I’m learning a lot and let’s see how things will proceed. One thing I know for sure: it’s more cool to be involved not only in the SEO but in other things as well, as UX, designs, social media, PR. Maybe SEO itself comprehends all these things together. Keep your mind open wide, think beyond the 4 walls around you, look around, amazing stuff is going on. It’s up to you to find them and implement them.

Few days ago, Peter Handley told me a shocking and upsetting truth: “I never listened too much to Nine Inch Nails”. I thought for 5 minutes how to handle this situation, and I even decided to unfollow him for few months. But then I did an amazing playlist with some of Nine Inch Nails music, and I’m here to share it with you. It’s extremely important for you to listen to NIN. Just trust me 😀

Meet your SEO: Moosa Hemani

Halli hallo! well it’s monday. And what is going to happen? YEAH. Good answer. Another episode of ‘Meet your SEO’ will be online. And in fact, it’s going to be.

For all of you liking summer and the music coming with it, I made a playlist in spotify with some Beach Boys’ music. I’m not a big fan of them, but I do enjoy their music and I strongly believe that some of their songs are masterpiece. Moreover, they are touring for their 50th anniversary. (if you are wondering, nope…I’m not paid for this ad, it’s only I like to share music. Better than 1000 words…).

Meet your SEO: Hannah Smith

I remember the first time I asked Sean to do the interview for this project. I remembered when he said he wouldn’t be able to do it in that moment because he was really busy. Then , he gave me ALL the answers after few hours. So I thought: are SEO always saying that they are extremely busy just for the sake of it? I still have the doubts, but I thank Sean a lot because he was one of the first who believed in this project, and his initial “no” convinced me to do this amazing interview series.

I had the pleasure to meet the SEO I’m going to interview in few seconds. I met her in Italy during a marketing conference. She was there with David Sottimano, and she was an amazing speaker.

Who is she? Ladies and gentlemen, SEOs and inbounders, please welcome Hannah Smith. She is an amazing SEO, based in London. She is working as consultant for Distilled and she is an SEOmoz associate. Hannah is even part of the awesome SEO Chicks group.
