Vine app for Android is out.

Yes, let’s go test it. Is it fun? Not to me, really. I installed it, I used it once, maybe twice.

I understood it’s not for me. OK, it happens. So let’s delete the app (simple) and the account.

Right, delete the account….WHAT THE HELL.

So, apparently (maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t care, because this is what I did anyway), there is no way to easily delete Vine account.

The working procedure is:

You have to go to Vine app site. Go on the “contact” section. Go on “support” section inside the contact section. And, wait for it, YOU HAVE A FORM TO COMPILE.

Then you click “send” and you receive this email.

Please add the email address you are currently writing from to your Vine account information. To do this, navigate to your profile page in the Vine app and then select “Settings.” If you signed up for Vine using a Twitter account and have not added an email address to your Vine account, please make sure the email address you are writing from is associated with the Twitter account you used to sign up for Vine.

Once you’ve added this email address to your account, please reply to this message so we can continue processing your request. By replying to this message, you are confirming the request to delete the Vine account associated with this email address. If you signed up for Vine with a Twitter account, please confirm that this is the email address associated with the Twitter account used to create the Vine account you would like us to delete.

Also, be sure to let us know what account you are referring to. If you can see the account in Vine search, press the more icon (three dots) on the top right of the profile. After that, tap on “Share this profile” and from there you will see your Vine account ID number. If you can find it, make sure to include it when you reply.

If you signed up for Vine with a different email address than the one you’re writing in from, we’ll need you to submit a new request from that email address before we can proceed. If you have multiple Vine accounts and would like one of them deleted, please make sure you’re writing from the email address is associated with the Vine account you would like us to remove.

Please note that account deletion is a permanent action. All account information and posts will be deleted.

It’s really that pain in the ass to delete a fuckin account for a fuckin app? I cannot believe it.

Your marketing strategy is “let’s make it difficult to delete the account so we can say we have billions of Vine users, even if half of them are inactive but too lazy to go for the whole procedure” ?

IT’S BROKEN.

To delete account, you should be able to go into the app settings and click…mmm, wait a minute…because this is hard….” delete account”. BOOM, done!

Vine, this is broken. And just so you know, I’m going for the whole procedure because you don’t deserve to have me as user.

Think like you are a user, not a fuckin marketer. Is that difficult to understand?
