So the day in which I will leave the old continent for New Zealand is come.
On october 17th I will leave from Venice, stopping in Dubai (for one night), and then one way to Auckland (with a small stop in Melbourne). I’ll arrive in Auckland on october 19th.
And then?
That’s the scary part. I don’t have a job – yet – but I’m happy to announce I have a room for one month, in Grey Lynn area.
I’m excited and I feel secure, because I have my love Giulia on my side, and that’s the most important thing to me. We were crazy enough to experience already the unknown in Paris, Barcelona and then Berlin. We experienced already that breeze with no name running inside of us and the nights with no sleep because of the too many questions.
The unknown is scary, it’s true. I’m 30 years old, and in the past days I felt more often the necessity to stop going around the world. But at the same time, I know how important is to fight the fear of uncertainty and travel, because that’s what I love the most.
So, New Zealand. The plan is to go there, find some rock and roll and badass job and have the chance to extend our visas. But in the next weeks, I’ll let you know what is happening to me and Giulia.
But we already won : we are visiting a place that is far, far away from our home, and a place of beauty. Maybe it’s gonna be a place we will call home for a while, or maybe not, but we are happy because together we are experiencing the world. We are lucky to do it together, and for that I will be always be grateful.
Life is too short. So let’s MOVE and EXPERIENCE the unknown.
