There is always time to learn

First post from New Zealand! First post from Auckland!

I wanna share with all of you some great news.

I arrived in Auckland on october 19th, and I had the opportunity to make some job interviews right away. My jet lag was not that bad, so I was able to manage them quite good (I think). I slept 12 hours straight the first night, and then my time zone was already set on NZDT.

After 4 days of my arrival, I received a very good offer that I decided to take right away, without thinking too much.

I’m pleased to announce that I will join Digital Hothouse here in Auckland, based on Takapuna area (beaches and area full of nice bars and all….what not to love?), starting on october 29th. I’m gonna work with Paul and Forsyth as Client Authority Manager. The purpose of the Client Authority Manager position is to develop, implement and manage internet marketing strategies for Digital Hothouse clients in order to increase their sites’ effectiveness as defined by the clients KPI’s.

Are you asking me if I’m excited? Fuck yeah I am. I’m gonna have the chance to follow some clients who have retail shops as well as online ones, and to me this is gonna be an awesome opportunity to try to break the barrier between the online and offline worlds, observing the customer real needs and bring them online.

The job interview was a very nice experience, and I wanna believe that the job itself is gonna be awesome as well. I was the one always looking for some badass job, right? So, now I have the chance to make one.

I’m gonna learn a lot of things, increasing my skills in SEO and beyond, and I’m gonna help Digital Hothouse with all my ideas and knowledge. The right balance is in place!

I’m gonna update you in the next weeks with other chapters of my kiwi life.

But so far so really fuckin good!
